Put up your dukes.

I don't normally say angry things like that in public but I am pissed. Go messing with freedom of religion and speech and now you are on the fighting side of me. I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more. Take your law and its interpretation and stick it in your ear. Comply? Like hell.

President Kocherlakota thinks full employment is near. Really?

I guess the idea here is that long-run equilibrium full employment has changed recently after what we have been through so that 8% unemployment is all we are going to get. Since prices seem to be rising now, the president of the Minneapolis Fed seems to think we are closing in on a new NAIRU target. And if that is true...how did you like the recovery? http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2012/05/23/feds-kocherlakota-economy-closer-to-maximum-employment-than-data-suggest/?mod=WSJBlog

Dammerung is German for twilight...this seems right to me. Click the link below.

http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/13/eurodammerung-2/ When the NAZI party gained seats in the Greek parliament just a few weeks ago, how far off can the end really be? Like Alan Iverson said, "Man, we're talking about Practice! Practice." Yea well we are talking about NAZIS! NAZIS! In Greece gaining political power! Freaking NAZIS!

Down...but not out.

This is me with my #1 degenerate horse race gambling buddy Marshall Gramm. I went with Creative Cause last Saturday and paid the price. Well that is why they run horse races. I had Dullahan a number of times too but only to win and place. So I missed there too. But I did hit the late pick four on Friday and that was very nice. On to Baltimore! P.S. Since I did have Dullahan to hit the board my gig at Pirate Radio 1250 goes on.
